The origins

When I was young, I dreamed of making video games but I quickly realized it takes a tremendous amount of knowledge and skills to make a real game alone. This is where making a game with many people become a necessity.

So I went on google to find existing projects where I could contribute. This is where I found the fact that there are no places to find this kind of stuff. Except a few recruitment post on some forums, there is no central location where people can either announce they are looking for a team to complete a project, or announce they wish to join a team.

Many people could get discouraged and give up their dreams of creating video games at that stage.

To prevent this chasm to engulf everyone, this site offers a place where you can enter the field of game development at your own pace and to the best of your abilities. No need to be a pro at creating games, only one interest is enough to start. Then it is up to you to advance in the path that suits you best.

Also, since everything is done through internet, site members don't have to travel and this allows people from around the globe to contribute together to create video games.
